ENDURE IQ
CALCULATORS
Physiological profiling in an exercise physiology laboratory can be a very powerful training tool for endurance athletes. However, many athletes do not have access to exercise physiology labs for this testing. Accordingly, Dr. Dan Plews and the Endure IQ coaching team have put together a couple of calculators that you can use to get decent estimates of things like intensity thresholds using easy-to-access field test data.

CALCULATORS
The following calculators can help you determine your optimal training zones and paces:
- Lactate Threshold
- Fat Max Threshold
- Critical Swim Speed (CSS)
- Functional Threshold Power (FTP)
- Critical Run Pace (CRP)
ENDURE IQ CALCULATORS

Metabolic Calculator
Use field test estimates of your VLamax and V̇O2max to predict lactate turn point 1 and 2 and fat max – which we use to determine training zones

Critical Swim Speed (CSS) Calculator
Calculate your Critical Swim Speed (CSS) and training zones by inputing your 200 m and 400 m swimming trial data in our calculator.

FTP Calculator
By performing a 20-minute test, calculate your FTP and determine the appropriate training zones

Critical Run Pace Calculator
Determine your appropriate running training zones by inputing your data from a 5KM field test.Â
